Men’s Golf Custom Print Design Package

Let’s collaborate on your next collection.

Looking for a print designer who is professional, reliable, and who understands the golf market?

Need someone who is technical and creative?

Someone with golf experience?

How about someone who emails you back?

Let me help.

For over a decade, I have worked in men’s golf world. I understand this market and can design prints your customers want to buy. The Men’s Golf Print Design Package is a collaborative process for brands looking for help from a reliable and professional designer. With this package you’ll get a custom print that is trend and market right.

What’s Included:

Collection of seven printed polo shirts in various colors, arranged in pairs with some overlapping.
Color calibration card with a lensometric device placed on top, used for assessing eyewear or optical equipment.

Part One:

Our initial chat:

  • First, we’ll hop on a video call to talk about your brand and what you’re working on. We’ll talk about your ideas, artwork requirements, and budget.

Part Two:

Getting Started:

If we’re a good fit to work together, I’ll send over a proposal and agreement to make it official.

  • A deposit of 50% is required to start the project.

  • Depending on the project, the average timeline for custom prints is 2-3 weeks. I’ll be able to give you an exact timeline once we have all the details squared away.

Part Three:

Concepts:

Once we have the initial direction decided (i.e. Moodboards, and/or visual concepts have been shared), I will present initial concepts for review and approval. This may include rough motif sketches (ex: a flower drawn in a certain style), color stories, and/or rough layout sketches for initial approval.

Close-up of a hand drawing abstract black lines on white paper with a fine tip pen, surrounded by various doodles of nature and weather symbols.

Part Four:

Design Development:

Once the initial concepts have been approved, I create the art, digitize it, and put it into repeat.

Revisions:

Once the design is completed I will submit it for review. Up to two rounds of revisions are included with each custom print.

Part Five:

Delivering of Factory Ready Files:

Once the design is approved I put the art into a factory ready format and the digital files are released. The final 50% payment is due at this time. After final payment is received you will have exclusive rights to the designs.

Design plan for a blue bark pattern repeating tile, showing full scale sample, colorway in bright white, with paint color codes for TCX Cobalt and Sky Blue, dimensions 9 feet high and 6 inches wide.

This gives you:

  • A custom, exclusive print that is aligned to your customer

  • Factory ready files that are ready to hand over to your factory

  • Assurance that your design will be something the factory can create

Pricing

Pricing is between 599-1299 per print depending on complexity. Let’s chat about your idea and I can send a detailed proposal.

Let’s discuss your product and goals and see if my services would be a good fit for your business

The 20 minute call is free and there is no obligation to work together. We’ll get to know each other and talk about your brand and goals. At the end of the call if we feel we would be a good fit to work together I’ll send over a detailed proposal with time frame and pricing info.

Testimonials:

“Amy was great to work with. On the design side, she has a great sense of color and style with an eye for detail and trend. On the technical side, she has an excellent attention to detail and wonderful follow through. I would highly recommend her to anyone.”

Common questions:

What do I need to start?

You’ll need a vision for your brand and some examples of prints that you like so we can be sure we’re on the same page for your vision.  You should have an idea of the types of motifs (ex. a type of flower or leaf that you’d like on your print) you’d like in your design and the style you would like them in.

Does this package include a tech pack?

The Golf Print Design Package does not include a tech pack, but you can pair it with the Technical Design Package or the Product Development Package and get a tech pack you can send to your factory to get your garment made.

How do I know you understand my customer and what he’ll like?

Your customer and brand are unique, and no one knows them better than you.  I view design as a collaborative process where we work together to design the best product for your brand.  This package includes a meeting where we chat and align on your vision, and two rounds of revisions to perfect the design.

Because I work almost exclusively with men’s golf brands, I can keep a close eye on trends across the category.

Diving deep into trend research for your brand lets me get into the mind of your customer.  I take this information and your feedback to design products your customer will love.

Why should I work with you instead of using a cheaper freelancer platform, or purchasing from a ready-made print website?

While I can’t speak to exactly what you would get from one of those services, I can speak to exactly what you will get when working with me:

  1. A guaranteed exclusive print. Your print is owned only by you, and it and every element in it is exclusive to you. No other brand has or will ever be sold any part of your print.

  2. A custom print. We work together to build your print to your specifications. It is unique to you and built in partnership with you.

  3. Your print will be ready to print by your factory. You won’t need to pay someone else to get it factory ready for you after we work together, it will already be ready to go.

  4. You will be working with someone who’s experienced in the golf apparel industry. I’ve been working in golf apparel for over a decade. I know the types of prints that are out there and understand this market.

  5. If you’re looking for ready-made prints, I have a collection of ready-made prints created exclusively for the men’s golf industry. If you would like to request access to the shop you can do so here.

The last freelancer I worked with gave me a print that my factory couldn’t use, or the last print I purchased off the internet wasn’t something my factory could use. Will my factory will be able to make a print you design for me?

Yes. I will have some questions for you about how your designs will be printed to ensure I give you the types of files you need. I can work in layered files in Photoshop or in Illustrator, depending on your manufacturer’s needs and can send the files to you in whatever format is needed. I have over ten years industry experience and a full understanding of the design to production process. Factories I work with recommend me to their clients, and you can be sure that your factory will be able to manufacturer any designs I create for you.

Will the designs be editable?

Yes, I send you all the editable files so you can make changes later on if you’d like.

I purchased a print from another freelancer or from a website that is not in repeat, can you put it into repeat for me?

Yes, I can help you with that. Contact me and we can talk about your print and how I can help.

I purchased a print from another freelancer or from a website that is not factory ready. It doesn’t have Pantones called out, isn’t layered, or isn’t in the right format for my factory. Can you help me with this?

Yes, I can help you with any of those issues. Contact me and we can talk about your print and how I can help.

I’m concerned about working with a remote freelancer.

I get it. Hiring someone local has it’s advantages. These days, though, there are more and more tools to keep your remote team working as one.

Video calls are a great way to bridge the distance. Send me any swatches or samples you’d like me to see and bring your coffee. It’ll be just like we’re in the room together.

An advantage of working with a remote freelancer? Being open to a remote partner expands the talent pool you have access to, especially if you don’t live in a fashion hub.

The last freelancer I hired dropped the ball. How do I know you’re different?

Check out my Testimonials to hear what it’s like to work with me from some of my clients. I’m a habitual overachiever. You won’t be disappointed.

It takes too much time to onboard a freelancer.

You’re busy and don’t have time for a lot of hand-holding. I get it. I don’t like unnecessary meetings and emails and I’m sure you don’t either. I respect my client’s time and go out of my way not to waste it.

What’s your refund policy?

Because this is a digital good and unreturnable, all sales are final. I stand behind my work and your happiness is important to me. If you are unhappy for any reason please contact me and I will do my best to make it right.

Why work with me?

  • You’ll have access to me and my 10+ years of industry experience.

  • I work only with men’s golf brands, so I'm super tuned in to this market.

  • Factories that I work with refer their customers to me. My experience means that you’ll have a design your factory can actually make.
